The topic of this bachelor thesis is the partnership and sexual relations of people with mild and moderate mental disabilities. The bachelor thesis deals with the investigation of partner and sexual life of people with mild and moderate mental disabilities. The aim of this work is to present data obtained during interviews and to map problematic aspects in relationships of persons with mild and moderate mental disabilities who live in institutions and families. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part explains terms such as: mental disability, partnership, sexuality, partner and sexual life in institutions. In the empirical part is the analysis and interpretation of data, which is based on research conducted in the form of interviews, whose respondents are persons with mild and moderate mental disabilities. Respondents are users of social services such as sheltered housing, day care centre, home for people with disabilities and two respondents are students of special secondary school and live in a family.
